About Visibly Her

Built from the inside.

Visibly Her was founded because the gap in support for women with chronic illness is not theoretical. It is lived, daily and deeply personal.

Our Story

The gap is not theoretical. It is lived.

For too many women, chronic illness comes with an invisible second sentence. You are diagnosed, you are treated, and then, often when the hardest part is only just beginning, the formal support falls away. You are stepped down from clinical care, handed a leaflet and left to work out who you are now.

Nobody walks you through the grief of a career that changed shape. Nobody helps you untangle your worth from your output, or your identity from your diagnosis. Nobody sits with you while you figure out how to explain it to the people you love, how to set a boundary without guilt, or how to build a future that is honest about your limits and still expansive about your possibilities.

Visibly Her was founded by Stephanie Brown, a woman who has been navigating chronic illness since her diagnosis in 2006. Nearly two decades of learning what it means to rebuild. To reclaim. To refuse to be defined by a condition that the world cannot always see.

Registered as a Community Interest Company and rooted in SE London, Visibly Her exists to make sure no woman has to navigate this journey without a community that believes her, stands beside her and refuses to let her disappear.

Meet the Founder

Stephanie Brown

Stephanie Brown is the founder of Visibly Her CIC. She has been living with chronic illness since 2006, and everything she has built since then has been shaped by that experience.

Visibly Her is not an organisation Stephanie built from the outside looking in. It came from nearly two decades of navigating the health system, rebuilding identity, learning to protect her energy and finding, eventually, a version of herself she recognised again. The VISIBLE™ Framework is the map she built along the way, and now offers to every woman who walks through the door.

Stephanie also co-founded Mindset + Mastery, a coaching and wellbeing organisation.

She facilitates Visibly Her's weekly peer support groups and is developing the retreats programme, launching soon.

"Our mission is to ensure that no woman with chronic illness has to navigate her journey without a community that sees her, believes her and walks beside her."
